Lyme Disease

Many resources exist for the treatment of Lyme disease.  Here, we will focus on the dietary component, though other resources will be given as well.

Website resources available for different aspects of Lyme....

  •  Dr Marty Ross has opened up his website TreatLyme.com, and now everyone can access all his thorough articles on Lyme diagnosis and treatment.  His site used to be a subscription site.  As an LLMD (Lyme literate physician) he shares a wealth of information that is invaluable as a patient or caregiver.
  • Any parent caring for a child should check out this book called When Your Child Has Lyme Disease.  (There is even a Kindle version available.). The author speaks from first hand experience on what is ‘normal’ when treating a child for Lyme.  She discusses school accommodations, and behavior expectations during treatment that are an invaluable resource.  Your child’s body is fighting a war, and adjusting expectations is critical to helping your child’s treatment be successful.

For those following Stephen Buhner's Herbal protocol for Lyme and coinfections, here are two resources. You will find an excel file that includes both a tincture dose log, and a calendar to note symptoms, treatment changes, or anything else that might be pertinent to your treatment.   It is a downloadable and customizable excel file that can be found here.
